Founded in 2014, Tasmo began with a clear vision: to bring together local craftsmanship, international influence and a timeless sense of style. From our Johannesburg roots, we create pieces that balance elegance with comfort, and individuality with everyday ease.
Our world spans bridal gowns, matric and occasion dresses, custom-made gowns, signature abayas and contemporary ready-to-wear. Alongside them, a considered selection of accessories brings each look together.

Founder & designer
Born in Johannesburg, Tasneem’s perspective is grounded in South African life and informed by an appreciation for global style. Her approach brings together femininity, practicality and an understanding of how clothing should move and feel.
After earning a degree in fashion design and refining her craft under Mariam Seedat at Moda Lounge, she established Tasmo in 2014. Her purpose was to create locally in South Africa while bringing a fresh, internationally influenced perspective to the local market.
More than a decade later, that vision continues through refined silhouettes, thoughtful detail and a personal connection with the women who wear Tasmo.
